Beginning Stained Glass..….Stained Glass classes for beginners consist of choosing a pattern, picking your glass and creating your work of art. You will be taught to use your glass like you are painting! We will teach you to cut the glass, fit it and foil it and solder. There are many tricks of the trade to be learned in this class. (minimum 4 students, maximum 6)

Instructor: Cathy Parkinson…………Cathy began her art studies in sculpture and pottery under Joseph O’Brien in 1977. In 1985 she widened her art interests to Stained Glass studying under Cathy Gamble at the “Stained Glass Studio”. Two years later she opened her own studio and began designing and creating custom work for local contractors, private homes, businesses, churches and schools. Cathy owned and operated” Classy Glass” in Dundee Ill. from 1987-1996. Since her move back to Cincinnati, she has owned and operated “Tapestry Stained Glass Studio”. She has also taught at Maple Creek for the last 6 years.
