Just a reminder about our First Annual Photography Show . We are fortunate enough to have 10 local photographers sharing their art with us for the month of July.

Saturday, July 3rd will be the opening day for the show. We will be open 12-6pm. Some of the photographers will be in the Art Center between 2 and 6pm. Please come out and show your support to these very talanted artists. You will be able to view and/ or purchase their work during regular open hours for the whole month of July.

Thanks to everyone who has sent their great recipes but we still have room for more ! We would love to include your favorites in our Maple Creek Cook Book. Deadlines for entries will be soon in order to send it to press and have it ready for holiday sales. Construction has begun on an amphitheater on the hill behind the office. We hope to have music here by late summer or early fall. We are looking for musicians interested in performing, volunteers willing to help with the construction process, and donations of materials and equipment. There will be work days on July 7th and 14th. Please call to sign up to help. We will be building the stage and laying rock walls to accommodate seating.

The six weeks of Beginning Pottery classes begin. Also join us for a two hour workshop in either Beginning Blacksmithing, Carving in Clay or Handmade Books.
