Pine Needle Baskets
Pine needle basket making is thousands of years old. This course teaches how to prepare the needles, begin the basket and give your basket shape. These baskets are not woven, as most, but made using the coil method. Most supplies provided, please bring thimble (if desired) and a small pair of scissors. As this is a long class, please bring a lunch.

White Oak Baskets
This workshop allows the basket maker to start with a section of White Oak tree and make the splits and reeds themselves. It is very different than using pre-formed reeds.
